Many different vessels, routes, tactics and locations are employed by traffickers. The wide range of strategies used by traffickers makes patrolling very expensive and inefficient as a source of information or as a deterrent.

Cost-effective, comprehensive, persistent surveillance

Sirius Insight solution provides a cordon of overlapping sensors which offer comprehensive, persistent coverage. Our Sirius Insight platform can alert for a whole range of clandestine activities (e.g. passages, locations visited or vessel rendezvous consistent with illegal activity).

Sensors are optimized to the detection of the smallest of vessels with very small radar cross sections, and pioneering algorithms are trained to automatically detect vessels often outside of radar coverage. Multiple sensors are used to build up confidence levels of detection, enabling higher probability detections of vessels at greater range than traditional systems.

SiriusWatch

The watchkeeper interface shows a plot of fused radar, AIS and camera contacts and a network of tracks from overlapping sensor locations.

Automatically directed cameras slew to radar contacts to enable verification/identification of contact, or track vessels outside of coverage.

SiriusTracker

'Dark cockpit' display alerts an operator to a single track of interest, with alerts generated by pattern of life algorithms or logic rules. Alerts can be tailored for specific missions, such as unusual activity near critical asset.

Can be distributed to multiple stakeholders avoiding need for experienced users to be constantly overseeing the data.

SiriusVision

Automated detections of 'target vessels', geo-located by camera, and fused with radar, ais and radio/cellular phone analysis.

Vessel and/or activity can be selected as triggers for alerts.
