Lord (David) Willetts served as the Member of Parliament for Havant, as a Paymaster General in the last Conservative Government and as a Minister for Universities and Science, including responsibilities for Space.​

Also, David created the Newton Fund whilst Science Minister to promote science and research capabilities.
Professor Mischa Dohler

Innovation
Mischa Dohler is a full Professor in Wireless Communications at King’s College London, driving cross-disciplinary research and innovation in technology, sciences and arts. He is a Fellow of the IEEE, the Royal Academy of Engineering, the Royal Society of Arts (RSA), the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET); and a Distinguished Member of Harvard Square Leaders Excellence.

He is a serial entrepreneur; composer & pianist with 5 albums on Spotify/iTunes; and fluent in 6 languages. He acts as a policy advisor on digital, skills and education issues. He has had ample coverage by national and international press and media.
Simon Nayyar MBE
Senior Advisor
Simon advises the leadership teams and boards of companies on how they communicate value to their investors and key stakeholders. His experience includes defence contracting, border management infrastructure, manned security, and the technology and support services sectors.
Simon stood for Parliament at the 2010 and 2015 general elections. He is a Member of the Order of the British Empire, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a Freeman of the City of London.
Jim Hook MBE
Senior Advisor
Jim is an experienced businessman with extensive knowledge in cross domain intelligence architectures and solutions. He is the founder of a successful technical ISR product development company and has partnered with global military and intelligence organisations in North America, UK, Europe, AMEA, and SEA.
Jim’s experience building a global specialist defence manufacturing and operational support business has involved winning multi-million £ government contracts. Jim is also experienced within the operational sphere, having conducted and led a high number of nationally strategic covert special forces operations.
Jeremy Merchant CGC
Senior Advisor
Jeremy served in the Royal Marines and Special Forces for over 30 years. His diverse military career has left him with a broad range of useful skills including extensive experience of understanding and working with people in multi-cultural environments, and operating in often stressful and complex situations spanning peacekeeping, combating organised crime, countering terrorism and war fighting.
Jeremy held a broad range of command appointments in the UK Special Forces and wider Royal Marines. He has been responsible for brokering and establishing political, legal and administrative arrangements to enable a variety of complex military operations in the UK and abroad and for managing the individual and collective training requirements for large numbers of personnel in support of a wide range of activities. He was involved in all of the UK's major conflicts since 1981 and was awarded the Conspicuous Gallantry Cross for his role on field operations.
His more recent broad commercial experience has seen him planning and executing complex security risk mitigation tasks for both private and multi-national clients in Europe, Africa, Latin America and the Far East.

Malcolm Glaister​
Chief Executive Officer
Malcolm studied Computer Science at Durham and then, after 9 years in the Royal Navy, began a career in technology and operations first with GE Capital and then with JPMorgan. Before founding his own FCA-regulated advisory business, he worked in management roles with AIG Investments and Lloyds Banking Group.

Malcolm is a Fellow of the Institute of Securities and Investments, an Associate Fellow of the Nautical Institute, an Elder Brother and Trustee at the Corporation of Trinity House, and supports a number of veteran and maritime charities.
Chris Hancock
Chief Financial Officer
Christopher is a Chartered Accountant and Corporate Financier who has extensive experience in assisting companies with first funding through to IPO and exit.

He trained with Arthur Andersen before entering corporate finance with Barings and then JPMorgan Cazenove. He has been an advisor and non-executive director to a number of start-ups and established operating companies.
Alistair Hancock
Chief Technology Officer
Alistair has 30 years experience of developing software for commercial applications. Having written and sold software for the BBC Micro while still at school, Alistair went to Cambridge to study computer science at the age of 17 and founded Rubicon Software while still at University. Rubicon grew into a successful software house with specialisms in database management and customer interfaces. It has designed software for Dulux paints, and lastminute.com as well as providing front-end systems for both established UK Building Societies and challenger lenders.

Alistair has served as CTO for Sirius since March 2020.
Ian Clarke
Director Business Development and Client Relations
Ian served in the Royal Navy for more than 30 years as a Warfare Officer specialising in surface and air operations. He commanded four ships including offshore patrol vessels and a destroyer, bringing considerable experience of maritime safety and security in UK waters and globally. His final appointments saw him working overseas as a defence diplomat, working in senior staff positions in NATO then as the Defence Attaché in Madrid. He joined Sirius Insight in June 2023.
Ian has an MSc in Technology (Maritime Operations) and MA in Defence Studies. He can speak Spanish to a functional level and completed a Chartered Management Institute Level 8 Certificate in Strategic Direction and Leadership at the Alliance Manchester Business School. He is a Younger Brother of the Corporation of Trinity House and Associate Fellow of the Nautical Institute.
